On the home tab you see a stream of latest activity, including forum posts and updates. Posting to the message box under ’What’s new in Facilitating Online Communities, …?’ is an update – it’s just like posting to twitter.
You are of course welcome to post updates, but note that the instructions for posting info about your assignment ask you to post to the forum. To go the forum, click on the forum tab.
