Facilitating Online Communities: 1 year, 1 month agoTrue true John, that’s why I didn’t explore it when I first found it, it was all a bit overwhelming. Like Chris says they have done well giving customised options to organise the information, it becomes much easier once started. Thanks both for your feedback and comments.

It is a community that has novice to expert for a development program Flash and operates on discussion groups and threads. People ask a question about Flash and other experts answer the question. It is a place to share tips and techniques around this program.

Cathy Moore’s blog isn’t an online community in the ‘traditional’ sense since it’s an individual blog. You could analyse how much sense of community had sprung up through regular commenters but I think it’d be difficult to analyse its design as a community since that’s not really its intention.…[Read more]
